How do you show off your collections?

Are you a collector?  Do you have your collections in one location in your house? or scattered throughout? I collect boxes and pashminas..... I would love to hear how you display your favorite collections.

new house=new project!

Its official.... the hubs and I are moving in August which means new project for me!

Its a circa 1948 bungalow with original wood floors, lots of built in closets, and a touch of charm.  A great front and back yard with a large oak tree on the corner to offer shade in the summer.  I simply cant wait for the projects to begin.

Today I bring you an event by the designers at Caplan Miller Events.  This is a dinner thrown for donors at the Arthouse at the Jones Center.  I love the elegance of this event but yet it is so simple.

Mason jars fit for a summer soiree

I love love love the look of mason jars for decor in the summer time.  It reminds me of my own wedding night in which we used them as candle holders.  They add a certain country and vintage touch to any event with  bit of understated elegance.
