Hermes guide to transitional scarves

..... nothing like a super chic silk scarf knotted as a top pair it with cute linen white shorts, some espadrilles and ginormous glasses... or if you are feeling boho-chic, adding that colorful scarf as a bandana totally completes your look! The third version of Hermes knotted cards came out this Spring and unfortunately you can't get them at their store anymore, but you can try to get this season or even try for vintage cards {totally a collectors item} from previous seasons on Ebay! Now dahlings, get your scarfs out...!!

As the cool weather approaches you can bet I will be pulling out my pashminas.  Those of you who know me, know this is a staple in my wardrobe and I can be found wearing these even in our hot Texas summers.

Lately I have been cheating on fashion with furniture as I get our new place in order.  But, tonight I stumbled upon this spread from Harper's Bazaar (old issue) and I am loving this laid back but classic, ethnic style.  This could all easily be transferred to inspiration for interiors.

Custom made for special friends

Sadly, last week was my last at my wonderful job at the Children's Hospital.  I was presented with an opportunity I couldn't pass up, so away I go on a new adventure starting August 1.

During my time at the Children's Hospital I had two wonderful managers, each with their own unique style or grooming and mentoring me.  I wanted to get them both something to say "thank you" but couldn't think of the perfect gift.  Yes, a bottle of wine and flowers would have been great but I just wasn't satisfied with that.  So, of course, in true Mrs. Curiosity fashion I had to take on a new project which my husband kept saying to me, "Are you sure you have time to do this?"  My answer, "I dont have to time to breathe some days, but somehow I make time."

So, on with making 2 fabulous leather clutches for 2 fabulous friends.  Read on to see the step by step and final product.
